Dr. Mahsa is a certified Activator Methods chiropractor and Functional Medicine practitioner. She recently relocated from Silicon Valley and joined Virginia Family Medicine. Dr. Mahsa received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from George Mason University in Virginia, where she also worked as an orthodontist technician for nine years and discovered the importance and correlation of the teeth and jaw with proper head and neck functions; as a result, she has developed specific skills to help patients with many chronic conditions. Dr. Mahsa completed her graduate work in Northern California, where she certified through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners to practice chiropractic and physical therapy. During her internship, she attended extensive training under the supervision of some of the finest doctors in functional medicine. Dr. Mahsa uses the latest research and individualized lab testing to address a wide range of health concerns, from chronic inflammations to hidden allergies. She takes the “whole person approach” to your health, which means looking for the underlying cause of disease, discomfort, or pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms.
When Dr. Mahsa is not working, she is active in Yoga, hiking, boating, and anything that includes the lake or the beach. She is dedicated to giving back to the community by supporting her local youth and children activities.
