Natalie lives in Oak Hill with her husband and their two sons. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, travel, and explore culinary and wine creations.
Natalie Bernys is a board certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s of Science from the College of Lyman Briggs at Michigan State University and her Master’s of Science degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2009 where she was the class president.
Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Natalie was a sign language interpreter in the state of Michigan. She played a vital role in providing effective communication for the deaf community in both medical and higher educational settings. Now that she is a Physician Assistant, she is able to provide her deaf patients a much more personal experience and avoid miscommunication and confidentiality issues which may occur when using an interpreter.
Natalie has extensive experience in primary care in both family practice and internal medicine. She enjoys developing relationships with her patients and their families as well as contributing to their overall health and wellness. She emphasizes the importance of preventative medicine and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
