Personal Interests

In his leisure time Dr. Pham enjoys reading, cooking and playing golf.

Biography

Dr. Pham began his medical career in the Philippines where he earned the degree of Medical Doctor. He did his externship at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Pham then moved to Baltimore, Maryland for an internship at Sinai Hospital and then a residency with the Johns Hopkins affiliated Wyman Park Health System.

Experiences in Urgent Care and Internal Medicine brought Dr. Pham to a point in his career where he opened his Private Practice in Springfield, Virginia in 1989. For 25 years Dr. Pham worked with his patients to improve outcomes through diagnosis of a variety of common and complex disease states, arranging long term plans of therapy, life style changes, diet, proper medication use and care coordination with specialists and hospital services. Dr. Pham’s last four years before joining Virginia Family Medicine, have been dedicated to caring for an aging population at a senior living community where patients conditions tend to be chronic and more complicated.
