Phu Pham, MD, is a dedicated physician on the team of providers at Virginia Family Medicine, practicing in the Fairfax, Virginia office.

Dr. Pham earned his medical degree in Quezon City, Philippines, at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. He relocated to Akron, Ohio, to complete an externship at Summa St. Thomas Hospital before moving to Baltimore for his postgraduate training. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Sinai Hospital and finished his residency at the John Hopkins-affiliated Wyman Park Health System.

Before joining the team at Virginia Family Medicine, Dr. Pham spent years working with patients in a variety of settings, including urgent care and senior living facilities, where he refined his expertise in working with complex and chronic conditions. He also spent 25 years running his own private practice in Springfield, Virginia, where he worked directly with patients to diagnose and treat various conditions in addition to coordinating their care with specialists and hospital services.
