Personal Interests

Ethel enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks, working in her garden, and cooking. Her two daughters are currently in college at Ethel’s alma mater, while she lives in a small town in Fauquier County with her husband and their three dogs.

Biography

Ethel Henry, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant on the team of medical professionals at Virginia Family Medicine. She’s been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 1989.

After graduating, Ethel practiced as a physician assistant in the United States Navy, where she served as part of the staff at Fleet Hospital Five in Saudi Arabia as a part of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm during the Gulf War. After finishing her active duty commitment, she continued to serve the Navy as a civilian employee at Dam Neck Clinic and Quantico Marine Corps Outpatient Clinic. She also spent time working for a top-ranked internist neurologist and a top-ranked pediatrician in Northern Virginia.

As part of the team at Virginia Family Medicine, Ethel promotes preventive care that can keep patients healthy throughout their entire life journey. She’s passionate about forming relationships with her patients to serve them with more individualized and compassionate care. She also has a special interest in family medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health.
