Hanh-Tien Tran, PA, is a board-certified physician assistant treating patients for chronic conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity at Virginia Family Medicine in Fairfax and Vienna, Virginia. Hanh-Tien also highly encourages her patients to partake in preventive care and helps them reduce their risk of experiencing future health complications. She is bilingual in English and Vietnamese in order to assist the diverse range of patients under her care.
Hanh-Tien earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Tufts University in Boston after growing up in the area. She went on to earn her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, in 2003. After finishing her schooling, she moved to Northern Virginia to practice family medicine and gain experience in treating a wide range of conditions.
When she’s not in the office helping patients navigate diagnoses of chronic and acute conditions that need careful management, Hanh enjoys relaxing activities like reading and gardening. Hanh and her family now live in Fairfax and enjoy spending much of their time together biking. She has a husband and two daughters.
