She is dedicated to providing patients with an integrative approach to health care. She focuses on addressing the body’s dysfunction through muscular imbalances, joint dysfunction, and faulty movement patterns. She will look at the whole body, for examples in lower back pain many times there is lack of movement in the upper back with hyper mobile knees and lack of movement in the feet. Dr. Burke tailors all treatment plans specific to each patient’s individual needs and goals, from running faster and improving performance in Crossfit, to maintaining strength and agility after injuries and through the golden years to helping prepare for childbirth.
Her passion for health care began with her own personal experience as a chiropractic patient. She had horrible migraines that nothing would fix in her teenage years. Her mother eventually tried chiropractic care at the suggestion of a friend, they resolved and with maintenance care haven’t returned. In her spare time, Dr. Burke enjoys running, yoga and heading out to her parents’ farm in the Shenandoah valley. Her parents have Jersey cows and some chickens in the Shenandoah valley where she loves spending time and enjoying nature.
